what if the rasperries and badfinger,s main players had been one band ?
what if the clash had backed up elvis presley toward the end.

what if back in the day the talking heads and devo were touring bands together.
what if bob dylan did some albums in the late 70s into the 80s using the attractions as his band.

What if the Beatles and Stones split into 2 groups"

McCartney, Jagger, B. Jones, Watts, Harrison

Lennon, Richards, M.Taylor, Starr, Wyman

that would be really interesting.......lennon and richards would be cool.
1/29/2019 7:31 PM
how about amy winehouse doing an album of james brown material with a really jazzy dirty brassy band.

I'm not sure Lennon and Richards would work...or McCartney/Jagger. Plus the odds are we would have not gotten such great music that way. Lennon & MCCartney (and Richards and Jagger) just had that certain chemistry together.

Where is James Brown? If I could hop in that time machine and see a concert by anyone in their prime, he'd be the one.
No grunge singers on here. Cobain, Layne Staley, Scott Weiland, and the incredible voice that was Chris Cornell.

Grunge singers had worse life expectancy than race car drivers, test pilots, or fire fighters. I wonder if actuaries have this built into life insurance pricing? "Oh, you sing in a grunge band? Nah, I think we'll pass on insuring you, or charge you $249,999 for a $250,000 policy." The only important one that is still kicking is Eddie V., unless I'm forgetting somebody.

Joking? I can’t tell if you’re serious or not, because Vedder is the guy I was referring to.

See, that's no fun. Gary Numan would always be #1.

I would add Highway Star by Deep Purple.
