No one in front of me needs a 3B at this point, so I'll jump ahead and draft 1963 Eddie Mathews $7,109,469.

1967 Dick Radatz RP5 260,917

I like the Radatz pick in general... a great way to save some salary in the RP5 bucket (as long as you have enough innings). Although, I don't think 3dayrotation really needs to worry about his salary. He's all but locked up the #1 overall pick in Round 25.

I will continue with my bullpen build. Since I won't have good starting pitching, I might as well have a strong bullpen.
1966 Pat Jarvis, RP4 $2,495,577

We all know how bullpens give you reliability, so this tracks.

Uh oh . . . did you just say out loud you were going to have a strong bullpen?

LMFAO.... Poor choice of words...

Normally, I focus on starting pitching and would get out to big leads. Then the bullpen would blow the game at a rate astronomically above what would be considered normal. Normally, my roster-build priority is (1) stating pitching, (2) offense, (3) bullpen. But with this draft, the focus has been (1) offense, (2) relief pitching, (3) starting pitching.

So the bottom line is, I expect to be trailing early in most games, but in theory - my bullpen *should* be better than my starters, so maybe we're the team that comes back late in the game - against other teams' relievers.

That's the theory, at least.
