OK. Project Fish Loaf is officially dead. Got something half way decent, but it isnt going to change fish as we know it.

Tried that KFC snadwich with no bread. Really expensive, really heavy, does taste great. I think everyone should try it once, and then get something else.

Also tried the Taco Bell Tortada this weekend. Not bad, but I cannot imagine anyone falling in love with this.

Also tried the 7-11 Smores ice cream sandwich. For .99 cents it is really good.

Got bored and had potatos and eggs so I made potato salad.

No celery so I chopped up some onions and marinated them in apple cider vinegar. Rinsed them off and let them sit in watter for a bit. Then dried them.

Worked ok.

Tried a hardees hot ham and cheese today...not great. Cheese is marginal, not a lot of ham for the money. Bun was average, maybe a tad above.

Since tonight is a big night...NFL draft and the Finals of Project Runway I am making deconstructed Nachos...

Start with a cornbread base, layer in refried beans and grilled chicken, black beans and onions. Cover with crumbled corn chips and cheese (Cheddar) and bake for about 20 minutes. Add sourcream and raw green onions. Eat!

What kind of cocktail party liberal elite makes deconstructed Nachos?

One of the advantages of being a Top Chef fan is I know the name of everything. For instance I always waited after cooking a roast before cutting it. I never knew that the name for that was "Resting". As in "you have to let it rest before slicing".

So although it isnt really a deconstructed nacho, I am close enough to use the term and sound cool.

Went to the polish market on Maple and Dequindere in Troy today. They have a cooked food section where you can get dinners. Had a stuffed pepper, breaded pork chop, polish spatzel, pickled beets and a cucumber and sour cream salad.

Ton of food for under $10.

Embaressing story time...

The other night I was watching some TV late and wanted a snack. Had a hunk of cheese so I put it on a plate with a knife. Didnt have any crackers so I was just cutting it up and eating it. Was laying on my bed with a few pillows propping me up. I cut a small hunk of cheese and stuck the knife in it and put it in my mouth, as I was pulling it out my arm slipped and I stabbed the knife into my tounge. Not deep, but it bleed. Not alot, but it was hard to stop. Seems like it is taking forever to heal.

This public service message brought to you by the committee to prevent other people from doing stupid stuff!

One of the perks of being in a college town is decent late night delivery.

I realize subway made Jared thin, but isnt everything there poorly flavored?

Anyone who has not tried the Chicken Alfredon Pasta bowl from Dominos go out and try it now.

Got some White Castle Cheesburgers, Cheese Sticks and a Sweet Tea.

All good.

Burgers are famous, but their Mozzerella cheese sticks are some of the best around.

Their sweet tea is delicious.

Thinking chinese for dinner. Their is a carryout place that does a curry Mei fun.

Or I might finally get enough momentum to go out and refill my propane tank and grill some chicken.

Or a double bacon cheeseburger.
