I actually do know quite a few. The Mennonites probably have a lot of fragmentation from untra-orthodox to very progressive. The ones that I know do not believe in becoming involved in government affairs (running for office, jury duty, voting, military service, etc.) because, it think, it runs contrary to the laws of God (or the Bible or something) and they abstain from doing so. Does a church rule demand that Mennonites not vote? I have no idea but I would guess not. I don't keep up with the inner workings of the church so, if it has changed, fine. The ones that I have talked to tell me they don't participate out of conscientious objection. They must be members of a more traditional sub-sect than yourself.

Yeah they must be of a sub-sect as you said. My church is pretty politically active, and so is the MCC as a whole. I mean, if you ever went to the MCC convention, that's pretty political.
