garmansouth in the $80M league has managed to roster two identical versions of 2018 James Paxton.

how in the world is that possible?
Also, how did no one notice until now?
I am commissioner of this league and I am flummoxed.
First off, as has been pointed out, this is supposed to be impossible in SLB.
Second (I have just re-checked) the league is set up NOT to allow clones, for either position players or pitchers. So that should ALSO make it impossible.
Beyond that, the only thing I personally verified was that each team's park matched their highest salary player, as required by the rules. The only other roster rule to be checked, obviously, is that each player used comes from his highest salary season. As this is too difficult and time consuming to check by hand, ozomatli has a spreadsheet that automates the process. My guess is that the spreadsheet does not check for clones though - because the first two points above SHOULD make it unnecessary to do so.
