I think the current game allows too much emphasis on 3 point shooting. Anybody who wants a winning team draft Malone, Rodman, Nash, Allen, and Stojakovich. Wait, lots of folks already do that. I know I do too because that's how you win now. It's a bit boring seeing the same players all the time.
However you adjusted FT attempts so guys like Dantley shoot half the attempts they did in real life you should do with the 3 pointer. Or have Dantley shoot his 10-12 free throws a game average. Maybe somebody will draft him then.
I believe if players got in foul trouble against Dantley, Barkley, etc. in real life the same should happen here. I know a lot of folks complained about their stars fouling out, but my opinion is different.
The defensive ratings don't seem to be worth what they cost. It peeves me when Peja or Allen put up 35 points on a 90+ defender. It often seems the overall FG% is adjusted downward against a strong defender but the 3's continue to rain down at a high percentage most of the time.
I would appreciate the thoughts of vets on what I posted in the forum about playoff fatigue.
