As for wingers, I'm not so sure they won't make a move. Though I wish they wouldn't. With Kunitz finally healthy and the Malkin on Staal's wing experiment working, things could really hit their stride after the olympics.
Adams practiced between Cooke and Kennedy. Presumably that combo could continue the 3rd line's ability to wreak havoc on the forecheck.
Disco really knows his stuff. I think the biggest obstacle come playoffs will be fatigue.
I will keep my opinion of Gonchar to myself for a change. ;)
So the snow is here. I doubt very much the pens are going to be able to make it to Washington for that game. Postponed?
I would think it would be kid. I'm about 60 miles north of DC and I've got 26" of snow, with another 4-6 to come today. The weather pattern is moving southeast, right back at DC with more heavy snow. I'd be shocked if they didn't move the game forward a few hours, or even reschedule it.
And to be honest, I'm starting to cringe when they talk of moving Letang or Goligoski when they resign Gonchar for another 2 years. I'm moving over to your side of the Gonchar bandwagon kid!
