Trump started a veteran hotline today where vets can call and email suggestions to fix the VA so when he's president he can fix it, because only a businessman knows how. Oh and he'll personally respond to some. Kind of brilliant considering everyone thinks he will lose vets after the McCain comments. You have to admit.

I'm not pouting.   Trump is all about Trump.   He doesn't give a **** about vets.   Or moy.   Or politics unless it helps Trump be Trump.   He's a clown.    And, if he were you or I, i.e. not rich, everyone would be saying "What a ******* clown.  Why is he getting press coverage?"

Maybe - but he is rich and he is successful and he is driving the media because even though he's baffoonish he's also a smart businessman. EVERY media outlet is talking about him because he wants them to.

The bar for president was set pretty low when America elected an Illinois State Senater who did nothing but vote present over 100 times for President.... Twice.

Dumb is on both side of the aisle. 

That said, Trump has been after Obama/Hillary for years and it hasn't hurt them.   Trump isn't winning a general election.  So, really, all he can do is hurt the Republicans with his antics.    He's a Dem dream.

You know Obama was US Senator also, right?
I am aware. Guy was campaigning for potus from day one. Got a nice pic of me with the freshman senator and a signed copy of him on the cover of Chicago magazine. I'm also aware that Jack Ryan, whom I also have met, withdrew from the Senate Race at the last minute due to a nasty divorce... And an outsider from Maryland named Alan Keyes had 2 months to knock off the one hit wonder that made a great speech at the DNC. It's interesting how he lucked into that job. Hell, even I didn't want Alan Keyes from Maryland to be an ILLINOIS senator.


What major accomplishments did he have as a US senator? Please remind me.
