For what it's worth, the team is terrible, worst record in the league (the only team that has a worse record than me...)

New theme league idea. Every team must draft 15 versions of the same hitter (same season) and 10 version of the same pitcher (same season). Consult garmansouth on how to do this.

That's a very good question. It's never allowed to have the same exact player twice on a team, and to my knowledge it's never happened. It must have been some kind of strange glitch to make that happen.

I can replace one of them if you can provide a valid replacement player.


I will defer to ozomatli on this...it seems pointless at this time to make a change, but happy to do whatever he thinks is best.

There seem to be a lot of glitches lately. In one league, I have two Long A pitchers. I needed one to start the next game, so I set him as Starter #1. When I logged back in, both were listed as Starter #1 and the wrong one was listed as the scheduled starter for next game. Admin could not explain how it happened other than "it's possible you made a change too close to games simming". That still doesn't explain how it accepted two pitchers in the exact same SP slot.

If you set lineups/change lineups while the sim is running that round of games, but before your games actually sim, it can cause weird glitches. I've had multiple Starter 1's, and I've even been able to change my current days starter before.

I'm playing at AT&T to help my modern pitchers cut down on HR. -3/-3 for HR, but somehow Sale has allowed 13 HR in 113 IP at home (RL: 27 HR in 226.7 IP) and Kluber has allowed 14 HR in 97.7 IP at home (RL: 25 HR in 215 IP). To keep up with the HR curiousness...in the variable league, '16 Miller (RL: 8 HR in 76 IP) has allowed 8 HR in 56 IP now, which is not shocking in itself, but he's allowed 4 at Target Field (-4/-4), 3 at Exposition Park (-2/-2) and one in SunTrust Park (-1/-1). He can survive the + HR parks but gives up long balls in negative ballparks.

Miller takes another walkoff loss to drop to 3-10. Loving the realism of this game.

Sorry guys! I never noticed that I had 2???? And how is it even possible?

As if I needed any more evidence that this disaster is not turning the corner, I had the pleasure of a mauch with 5 one-run losses in the am cycle. Over and out.

I would like to do some analysis on 1-run games, as well as Exp Win%. I've asked ozomatli if he could get the data for me. My teams (overall) have been very lucky in 1-run games. although my winning% is still below exp win%

As of a day or two ago, my teams were underperforming by a cumulative 17 wins. Wish I could say that was enough to account for my overall failure, but it would only get me within sight of the Cage instead of fighting for .500.

Just seeing this. Crazy glitch. Never seen this on WIS before.

garmansouth should replace the player but no forfeits will be mandated.

For those that enjoy car crashes, avalanches, people falling off ladders, etc. I'd highly encourage you to examine my pitching staff in the 90MM league.

That team is quite likely going to lose in excess of 145 games. I wouldn't be surprised if that team ended up 6-156.

Love re-reading all the early season posts. marvin_katki's $90M team is currently 19-122, so he's overachieved I guess.

Drafting only 2 full-time SP and 1200 IP in a league with no defense will do that to you
