So what us the deal with the $120K fine story on Cable?

who will win in the jets - steelers game? packers - bears? who wins the SB?

It's a very small sample size with me but I've noticed no change in performance when I play fatigued players.  But I seldom do it. 

The NFL stripped the Raiders of two off-season practices for failing to follow certain guidelines.  Al withheld 20k from Cable's paychecks as a fine six times.  Al likes to go to court.   And he knew Cable wouldn't yap about it because he wanted his 2y/5m option picked up.

Jets, Packers, Packers.

Would those two off-season practices have led to a division title?

If that's one of the morons in Foxx, no.   Foxx was full of morons.   You chose to live among them.  Accept your fate.

I'm almost certain two more practices would have had them in the AFC Championship game.

Does $120K seem like a big enough fine, then? Does Al not care about winning?

Cable's salary was only 100k.  

Is it a plus to have a bench player or two who can rake lefties to start regularly against lefties and be able to rest the starters on a rotating basis, or do you like having the best overall player you can find on the bench and rest when it is time?

When I build a team, I build the best I can possibly build.  I fill in the holes when I'm done with my first 20-22.   As an example, Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Esteban Sanchez is a beast.   But, because of his durability, I know he's a 135-140 game guy.  He was only attractive to me, highest salary I've ever given out, because I had Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Jimmie Blanco to play 140 games in the utility role at 2B/3B/SS/CF.   I knew he could give me 30 games at 3B.   I try to find the right pieces and don't worry about whether one guy can rake lefties.  On the same team, I have a 3 catchers.  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Carl Bieser plays vs LH,  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Harry Ortiz plays vs RH(and is the D-Catcher) and Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Harry Jacquez is there because I signed him before I brought Bieser back.  I can carry three catchers because Blanco can sub everywhere.  If he gets hurt, I've got to send a C to AAA because I don't have another Blanco in my system.   I'd have to call up two players.
