I've started the porting process, but it will certainly be a painful one. The end goal will be full Mono support, which will allow HD Oracle to make the leap to Mac, Linux, and more. Getting to that point may take some time, but I'll get it done!

I can't wait.

If you've downloaded the "Setup.msi" file off of the website in the last week or so, you may have experienced an issue after installation, in which an exception was thrown stating a problem with a particular .DLL which could not be located. That .msi has been replaced this evening and if you download this new setup file, it should get you up and running.

The newest content (customizable ERI, team view, etc..) is coming along, but taking a little longer than the original estimates. I'll try to keep this thread updated as it nears completion.

when selecting a division, I get the following error,
"the data type in not valid for the boolean operation [Data Type (If Known) = datatime, Data Type (If Known) = navchar ]

Can you use it in every world...so if i have 3 teams in different worlds I can use one copy for all of them or do I have to play favorites and just buy it for one world? is the potential simulation also available for players that you are recruiting or just for players that have signed? It seems like a good idea exept it seems like it would take some of the element of surprise out of the game which is part of the reason why it is so entertaining. If you could see the future of your life and it turns out that you end up losing your job, living on the street and being a heroine addict, you'd be pretty dissapointed and dread the future.

Can be used for all worlds and its just for players who are already on your team so no you can't see what they will be like before you recruit them.

Furry is correct. The recruiting feature was taken out before release, though it may still be implemented in a future update.

Do you still have plans to separate ERI ratings into offense and defense? Is this something you think you will roll out when you implement customizable ERI?

Yes. ERI will be split into OERI and DERI with the addition of customizable ERI and team view.
4/21/2008 9:27 AM
Alright, customizable ERI is near completion. Team view may be pushed back a bit, but should follow shortly. Expect content patch 1.2 to be released sometime this weekend.

Also, I've been working on a new scouting feature to be added in the next big patch. Basically, it allows coaches to see detailed tendencies of their opponents over the entire season, the last 10 games, when playing against your particular defense, when they lost/won, etc.. Information available includes average defensive positioning, tempo, avg. stats for and against (including all stats listed in the boxscore.. PIP, POT, BP, etc..), and more.
