Almost went here and slid him to 1B, but since jose already had his 1B, I didn't think it would sting that much
Had him slotted as a backup, if only for the karma pickup. Color us annoyed.

Need a y for the bullpen, so I'll pluck one from a division rival.

I'll sitemail schwarze and specs to make their final picks.

Sitemailing the league # shortly...

Good pick, I was hoping he'd slide but such is life.

Well, the pitching isn't great and our defense is below average, but the starting lineup for my Red Sox is pretty strong... The average hitter (in my starting 8) has the following stat line...

.335 avg, .419 obp, .572 slug, (and only 65 K's per hitter)

The pitching totals look like this (excl. 200K pitchers)...

1423 IP, 1.02 whip, 2.06 ERC, .214 oav, 0.50 hr/9, 8.0 K/9, 2.2 bb/9

I'm at:

.332/.396/.530
1,452IP 1.04 WHIP, 2.70 ERA in the Kingdome...

.327 / .426 / .559 for the Fish starting 8, although the defense is mediocre and we're going to strike out a ton.

Pitching staff is a little weaker, but not too shabby for an expansion team:

1463 IP, 1.07 WHIP, .214 OAV, all of which should (hopefully) be helped by Joe Robbie.

Joe Robbie's dead. I wouldn't count on too much help from him.

He could still find a spot in my bullpen.

Cubs starting 8 checks in with: .315/.402/.566 No regular worse than .300/.369/.445 (Furcal). Defense should be pretty good, rates B+/B overall with A+ range at short, A- at 2B, B+ in CF and B at 3B. Wilkins is an A+ arm behind the plate.

Pitching (before 200k) is 2.45/.210/1.03. 1544 innings, 8.56 K/9, 2.33 BB/9, 0.57 HR/9.

Of course, all of this assumes that specs doesn't steal another Cub with his still pending pick.

Yep, same assumption with the Red Sox, but I've been picked pretty clean, losing Clemens, Petrocelli, John Valentin, Fisk and Yaz. Not much .

the Tigers hitters check in with:
.331 / .402 / .544 respectively, pitching without 200k yet:
1,808 inn, 2.31 ERA, .220 oav, 1.05 whip and 0.60 hr/9

Buckos' starting eight - .316 AVG, .408 OBP, .534 SLG and .942 OPS

All Pittsburgh arms (200k included) - .202 OAV, 2.20 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, 8.8 K/9, 2.93 K/BB, .6 HR/9

Better than expected. And we'll be going it old school in classic Forbes Field.

The I "pini'ed my draft" Astros come to th table with a starting eight

.314 avg; .404 obp; .557 slg; plus some filthy pinch hitters

The entire staff delivers (including mops)

2.16 era; .197 oav; 1.01 whip; 9.26 k/9 and 2.25bb/9; 0.49 hr/9

Quick question: Why the great disparity in innings by team? Pini's typo???1800+??? Schwarze 1400+

What am I missing?
