On the topic of Survivor, I found season 1 of the CBS version on DVD this weekend at a pawn shop. It is amazing how far they have come in just production values and even in the formulation of the game itself. My wife and I sat down and watched the first episode with my aunt and uncle and the 4 of us were like why did we ever get hooked on this show?

In game 1, Chad Gaudin stepped in as our ace against Hoyt and the 27 yankees and started off great out of the gate, 7-0. We end up winning game one by a score of 7-1.

In game 2, the lurking Andy Pettitte faced Urban Shocker. Pettitte got shelled out of the gate 5-0. The three bigg innings made it 10-5 before a 3 run homer made it 10-8 in the 7th. But in the bottom of the 7th, they got the runs back and then some with 5, to make it 15-8. That would be the final score.

In game 3, Gaudin vs Hoyt, a rematch of game 1. The 09 yankees got another big inning in the 3rd with 5 runs. The bullpen started to leak in the 7th inning giving up 3 runs to make it 6-4. We got an insurrance run in the top of the 9th and nailed down the bottom of the 9th to secure the sweep. Final score 7-4.

Down to the final three. There will be one more challenge to play that will affect the final vote, but not eliminate anyone. Swamped with work tonight but hopefully will get that together tomorrow, and will pull the jury together and get that process started as well. Congratulations to BastanRedsox, tropicana and kneeneighbor! Take a day to relax on the island before we finish up.
