Hey albi: you are about to pick soon. Just wanted to let you know that I found your lack of taking advantage of proxies to be extremely rude. I would not invite you to another draft league I was running tbh. You singlehandedly cost the league several days. I am not the Savage commish so not relevant. But I want to be honest with you here. Personally, I would be hesitant participate in a draft league that you are a part of.

I don’t know if this message is framed properly and it is a pandemic. But this isn’t the first draft where this happened. Last draft you were sending Ben proxies and that was really helpful. I get it isn’t anyone’s favorite thing to do, but it does keep the draft humming along.

I honestly don’t want to be an ***hole so please let me know if I am going overboard here.

I've gotta work tomorrow so I sent my proxy list to the same three above as dh.

Nope. I'm 100% in agreement.

even if he sent the names he was sure of, it would be good to know he tried in the event one of them were available.

I can understand not wanting to send a long proxy when you're 5 hours ahead and have no idea what the board will look like. some of this, at least, is bound to happen. a short proxy would at least be an attempt that may or may not work out, if he has an idea of who he wants.

I send a proxy when I have like 15 persons picking before me? Not easy and I do not know how to solve this, beside staying permanently connected on whatifports.. Who should I put in the proxy, like 10 possible players?

I am sorry for this, I access the website 2-3 times a day to see where do I stand, then I have also my normal life business to take care, which is of course prioritary..

I understand that the draft is going a little slower due to my ''slowness'', I am sorry for it. At the end, though, we are talking of a game, and I personally think 1-2 days of delay in the start of the league will not change the lives of anyone.

Since I am the only one outside US, anyway, I should adapt myself to the majority. I will do my best to send you proxies, considering though all what I said above.

Albi, I understand your situation as I also reside outside the U.S. for most of the year. There have been a few times this draft where I knew there was a chance that I would be asleep when my turn to pick came around. In those instances, I sent a proxy list. It's difficult when your pick is 15 slots away, like you mentioned. But maybe just send a proxy list of 2-3 players you've got your eye on. If one is available, you get your guy and we keep it moving. If not, at least an effort was made.
