d3 coach, won 2 national titles under this new engine...........complaint - fix recruiting! please for the love of pete. i looked at a good amount of the knight kids and there is just an abundance of d2/d3 players with low potential in either ath or spd or both. i thought there was supposed to be more diversity of the talents of players but all i see is guards with no potential for ath/spd growth but can get better at bh and pass...........wahoo! boring. and then you have all centers with below 15 spd and no ability to get better as athletes. wahoo! boring. sf is useless. i think your recruting generator tries to think of the stinkiest combos and poof out comes a small forward.

if i was a c prestige d3 coach i'd probably punch myself in the head. what chance does a c prestige d3 coach have to get good players? slim to none. how is that fun? and seeing as though most coaches take a team with lower prestige when first starting out it, its a pretty good assumption to believe new coaches won't renew when they are battling b prestige schools for shooting guards with 11 per ratings.
i dont see anything like that wrong with recruiting in lower divisions. it is quite enjoyable, and there is an increased level of competition, which i have to figure is a good thing (based on the apparent love for competition in d1 recruiting). if you are going after 11 per shooting guards, well, the problem is definitely not with the game :) i will concede that sfs are pretty rough around the edges though. all in all d2 and d3 are in a million times better shape recruiting wise than d1.
