Desert Island Movies

For my next trick I will select one best movie per decade starting with the 30s and pick one movie series in addition.

1930s - The Wizard of Oz
1940s - Casablanca
1950s - A Streetcar Named Desire
1960s - Dr No
1970s - The Godfather Trilogy ( final director cut for 3 makes it a great terrific movie ) and Close Encounters of The Third Kind
1980s - Glory
1990s - Groundhog Day
2000s - King Kong
2010s - Get Out
2020s - 1917 ( I did not see Oppenheimer )
good idea...here's my list:

1930s - Duck Soup
1940s - Casablanca
1950s - 12 Angry Men
1960s - Dr. Strangelove
1970s - American Graffiti
1980s - Back to the Future
1990s - Pulp Fiction or A Clockwork Orange
2000s - Mystic River
2010s - Once Upon a Time in Hollywood or Get Out
2020s - The Trial of the Chicago Seven (I haven't seen a lot of movies this decade)
Interesting - Once Upon A Time was in my final 3
and The Chicago 7 was as well in final 3 or 4.

No thanks. I try hard to ignore annoyance as best I can.
BTW.

Thought you'd enjoy this.
I'm a huge Billy Joe Shaver fan. RIP!

Here's one of my favorite Billy Joe quotes (of MANY!--He was a bit like Yogi IMO)

"You don't believe Jesus Christ. Go to Hell."

This morning in Choir we sang "My Faith Still Clings" - James Koerts.

From now through Christmas we'll be doing our Choir directors favorite composer, all Ron Hamilton songs. Not a bad thing.
