I can keep this up all day. The fact is that it is accepted in the mainstream that this is no a raging y. I agree she is liberal, you would have to be a fool to deny that, but she is a deal maker and very pragmatic.

The point I think you're missing, Swamp, is that by being more towards the center, she could actually move the court to the by virtue of her ability to pull Kennedy.

Hell no, that 9 million dollar cottage he just bought gives off a larger footprint than all of our houses combined in this forum. Also the fact that his green energy and green building companies will have revenues that skyrocket, right along with your energy costs if this bill passes, makes me believe that you on the liberal side are the ones that mimick the liberal line.

The point about Gore using climate change as a platform to profit from is interesting and one I happen to agree with. If we argue about the Iraq war and our defense policy someday, I hope you'll remember that point when I bring up the war profiteers and their influence on this country.

The bottom line is I don't care if Gore makes a $1 trillion. The issue is if he is right or not. If this is all made up, and he is profiting from it that is very different than he is actually right about a global catastrophe and he just happens to make a profit fixing it.

Keep that in mind when discussing Iraq.

My attitude about global warming is very Republican in that.....by the time the price needs to be paid I will no longer be around so it will have no effect on me. Iraq on the other hand was all about the money for those who profit from the war. We had no business sending an army there and nothing you war profiteers say will ever convince me otherwise. Here is another guaranty for you, the next time we make the mistake of electing a Republican majority you can count on an invasion of Iran or North Korea or both! And you can put that in the bank!

People make msitakes. Carter thought a rescue would be a good idea.

The fact is that almost everyone thought Saddam was stockpiling WMDs. Since they used them before we knew they had them at one time. You know I can show 20 quotes from Democrats saying Saddam has WMDs and needs to be dealt with.

War Profiteers has a little bite to it. It implies that not only werte they selling things, but there were also up to something. Does anyone believe that?
