That’s the most interesting tactical question to me. The flexibility of having that free choice could be worth a lot at the end. But soon someone will face a choice where their best options are all attached to players they’ve already used, and how you weigh that up is really tricky.

Dang when building my spreadsheet I had missed Cy Seymour's pitching seasons 1896-1900. I may have grabbed Davis instead of Combs, what an idiot.
