the all-righty 2B platoon of Lew Fonseca and Riggs Stephenson...just how I drew it up before the draft
Not a bad "save" after getting defaulted at 2B. Your 2B-combo will probably outperform quite a few of the starters.

True, but it also did cost me two picks I could have used elsewhere (like on Douthit), as well as of course pushing me to the end of every round in Phase 2. So the pain will be felt elsewhere.

I sent my proxy to schwarze. Thanks again for taking them.

At the start of the draft, I had multiple contingencies set up in case I get defaulted or voluntarily blew off a position. You could put together some really strong combos at 1B, 2B and OF.

Had I take Bancroft instead of Frisch, I probably would have ended up tanking 2B. Grabbing Ed Roush was Plan A. The Fonseca/Stephenson combo was plan B

CALHOOP already has a Giant in Phase 2, so...

Bench - 1941 Mickey Witek - New York Giants - $894,692

calhoop already has his Cincinnati Red, so I can post mllama54's proxy...

mllama54 selects 1906 Hans Lobert, Reds (bench)

Round 23 -
1957 Joe Cunningham Cardinals Bench 2,652,965

Round 24 - Everyone else has their backup catcher and I am very please that I was able to finesse:
1954 Red Wilson White Sox C2 2,336,218

as my final selection before Round 25.

Great draft - One of the all time best. Thanks, schwarze!!
