That is not a question, Bible thumper.
Wasn't he a friend of Bible Bambi?

Wait a minute. That missing comment. Did you really redline me?
3/3/2011 3:25 PM
I'm not familiar with Bible buddies.

I'm sure you know the rules of the thread and the fact that Threadmaster Sergie drops the redlines on violators.   Or, since you asked that question, maybe you don't.

At what point in the season do you say "damn the torpedoes" and play position players at less than 100%?
3/3/2011 3:34 PM
There's no set time but, if I'm falling out of contention and my back-ups aren't capable enough, that's the time.  In MG last year, I was 51-40 at the break.  Had a nice lead on the WC.   Then we started falling apart.   With no CF back-up, I played him down to 92% by roster expansion.  I had to start playing him fatigue around game 110-115.  Otherwise, if I'm fighting for a bye or the WC2, it's usually around game 145 or so.  The call-ups didn't get the job done so I went back to the starters.

Have you ever read the bible?  You know, sitting down and reading it like a real book?
3/3/2011 3:47 PM
No.  I own a couple and I've read passages but, no, not like a book.   I don't really want to come off as a religion-hater but I know I do.  My wife of 10 years didn't know I believed in a Higher Power until last year.  I'm just not very trusting of man.  And men wrote the Bible and created religions.  I feel that the religious figures of yesteryear were the politicians of today.

Have you ever thought "someone should read this book and do a movie about it"
3/3/2011 4:14 PM

I don't put much thought into the Bible or movies about the Bible.

If they made a movie about you life, who would portray you in the movie?  And which hot chick would you like them  to put in the movie as well?

would youi be played by Larry the Cable Guy in a movie of your life?
3/4/2011 1:24 AM
In HS, I was told I looked like the dude from BJ and the Bear.   In my mid 20s, I was told I resembled the bearded Jim Morrison.

Val Kilmer played Morrison in a movie.   Also, he and Greg Evigan could be twins today.   So Val Kilmer.  He's about my age.

The wife says I have an affinity for women with dark hair, brown eyes.   I'm good with Salma Hayek.

Larry has about a 100 lbs on me.   But I could bulk up at any time.

any plans for the weekend?

Philosophical question, that might be unanswerable;

Where do you draw the line between "you're worrying about everything and are going to make yourself sick" and "you've stopped caring"?

eg; let's say someone used to stress and worry about every little detail, and through life experiences, learned to drop the small stuff and love life.

At what point would you look at that person and say "you're now dropping the large stuff and you've stopped caring"?
