How about the K, caught stealing bit? Isn't that a negative to the K?

Then why all the crying over the potential DP?
Cause you're on your knees sucking off the productive out. We want to let you know there's another side of that mouthful you're enjoying.

Now that's probably a really smart way to play it, actually.

I've never known Mikey not to understand and appreciate that there's more mouthfuls for him to suck off.

Because the batter didn't get caught stealing, the baserunner did.

Ah, but the baserunner was thrown out only because the batter failed to make contact.

Batter also could be tagged out on a liner to the second baseman.
It's stupid to spend time thinking up all these individual "what ifs" which prove nothing.

Nuke fails to recognize the obvious.

Not possible, because you are talking about a GB out - right?
But that is still a DP, which you were already factoring in.

No, he was thrown out because didn't get to second base fast enough.

But Bill, you keep on saying the benfits of k'ng was no DP, but that isn't always the case which is why I brought it up.

Fine. Could still happen on a grounder.

These individual scenarios prove nothing.

There's good data which shows no correlation between Ks and Runs Scored. That's enough.

On the flipside, Mikey has repeatedly said it's not possible for runs to score or runners to advance on a K.
Which we all know to be 100% untrue.
Does finding that out that change your mind?
Of course not - it's a meaningless single scenario.
There's good data which shows no correlation between Ks and Runs Scored. That's enough.

Big pictures are made up of individual scenarios.
Putting the ball in play is better than swinging, missing and dragging your no contact *** back to the bench.

If this were truly a baseball site, there would be no discussion. Because anyone who has ever followed baseball knows damn good and well that a "Good try, son. You'll hit it next time" is weak, little league ****. Put the ball in play.
Perhaps you should return to blowing Belichick, Brady and whoever else on the Pats needs a consolation knobjob.
