seble, will we be able to search by FG%, FG%+ and FG%# (like in the mlb sim)?

The first two, we haven't added the third.

But aren't you going to use the third in the new version of the sim?

FG%+ is the player's FG% in relation to the league average FG% for that season. For example, if a player had a FG% of 50% when the league average was 40%, he would have a FG%+ of 100*(50/40)=125. FG%# is the log5 calculation.

Personally I dont think we should know what off/def the opponent is running til after the game also. What coach shows the other team what he is doing before the game??? Thats all part of the guessing game, put out what you think your team does best and hope it works, why should you be able to make adjustments BEFORE the game??

I partially agree with earlmantis. I don't think we should know what off/def strategy the coaches are employing BEFORE the game. It should be hidden also until after the game (revealed in the play-by-plays already).

That way, a coach can change his strategy from game to game without the whole world knowing.

if we could make adjustments in game this might be a good idea but since we cant I dont think so

In a real life game you could spot the defensive tendencies immediately and adjust but since we cant adjust it's just unrealistic

Showing the settings prior to the game being played could quite possibly turn into an annoying game of "cat and mouse". Whoever happens to be able to check the site closest to game-time gets to make the last adjustments. That doesn't seem fair, or like it would be something anyone would enjoy having to do.

it's better to have a chance than just guess blind

At least both teams (owners) are on equal ground that way. I don't like the idea of games being decided just because owners have more frequent site access.

Set it up as an "IF-Then"

If opponent is running X, run Y def. Then your covered no matter what they do.
