This is NOT about multiple accounts.
Look, it may have been COUGDAWG who got screwed instead of someone else b/c of his multiple accounts, but the question is why was ANYONE screwed? Mergers may happen, and people may get booted. But why was ANYONE booted from Williams before LOCO decided whether or not to accept the merger? (I assume the answer to that question is that WIS wasn't planning on giving LOCO the choice of opting out of the merge at first, but then the LOCO owners forced their hand with vocal complaints). And once the merger didn't happen, why weren't ALL Williams owners who had been booted given first crack at getting their old team back?
Multiple accounts has NOTHING to do with that. Ignore the fact that he switched accounts. Pretend he's just a regular, 1st season owner. Once the merge doesn't happen, how is it fair not to give him his team back? There are probably other, less vocal owners who would like their team back as well. It's not about cougdawg, it's about the principle, because we all could one day be subject to one of these situations, and should be treated fairly.
And yes, in the future, cougdawg should learn his lesson and refrain from using multiple accounts. It's not a good practice. It's also grossly unfair to WIS if you're an existing player, and you sign up for a new WIS account and take the discounted 1st season. People should NOT do this. However, it's not what this issue is about.
