Ill vote for the parity plan. Seems fair enough.

I'm only half kidding about Quirk. Obviously his stats don't warrant a pick, but I do own a Jamie Quick Fan Club T-shirt from when he was in Oakland.

I'm undecided about coming back. Part of the reason I joined the first one because of the pitching decades. All of my progressives have the same pitchers, dead ballers or 50's-60's. I would hate to not do it, given how much time I already have invested. Let me think things over if you don't mind and get back to everyone. Thanks-Homie

Thanks for checking in homie. We'd love to have you back, I'll be sure to check back with you if I haven't heard when we're ready to go. Crosley Field is being held for you if you want to come back.

Cheno5 has contacted me to let me know that he's not coming back, so that frees up Kauffman/Royals Stadium if anyone wants KC.

I'm in but I'll likely change my ballpark under the current configuration. Did you pick the seasons for each position or did random.org? Because I'd prefer the latter.

ok man, I've got you in. Bennett Park is yours unless you say you don't want it.

I didn't pick the seasons randomly. But it wasn't very calculated either.

I don't want to make you do any more work (another player list!) but this grouping does to me have one obvious problem which I try to avoid. If its too much to arrange a re-roll, I will just shut up (for once!) and work with the current set.

Count me in. It's a bummer losing out on 3 Hall of Famers at their begining of their careers, especially Hornsby but I love drafting.

I think we should also have 2 picks a round at some point to speed things up, especially with the holidays fast approaching. I've seen it around the 6th round for most of my leagues, especially if it has 24 people but I would highly recommend the 2 picks at some point.

I know homie. Believe me I LOVED my first three of Carlton, Ryan, and Doby.

I'm not a fan of 2 picks per round, except for additional AAA rounds. We'll just have to work around the holidays best we can.

Still going with Crosley Field? I've got you down for Cincy unless you let me know otherwise.

First off, I picked the wild card years. I went with 2001 because of the limited future of ultra-modern players, and I picked 1941 because since so many of them go off to war over the first few years of the league, it made sense in terms of minimizing DLs.

After that, I took into consideration how many players would be available, so I wanted one year to be early history, and one year later history. There's 60 years between the two catcher seasons, 60 years between the corner infield seasons, 60 years between the middle infield seasons, and 60 years between the OF seasons.

parity is OK with me. I'll let you know about the ballpark.

ok, Bennett is on hold for you unless you let me know you want to move.

My team already had year 2 locked up with Ted Williams hitting .400 and Vida Blue with his big year in 71, throw in Joe Wood as my #2 starter.

With 16 we won't need parity adjustment, but I'm OK with it if we have 20 or 24.

I was looking forward to year 3 with '72 Carlton and Ryan, and Doby in the middle of my lineup.

I think we'll all have plenty of Hall of Famers in this one too.
