Season 40 Draft Report:

Leonard Klein, #27 Overall

I didn't get a chance to add my recruit profiles this past weekend, but I was relatively disappointed with my class, although it did get rated #19 (for all that is worth). I had to settle for 1 ineligible and 1 walkon, and will end up being a little thin on the perimeter this season. I should be able to get a return trip to the NT this season, although I doubt a deep run is in our future.

There looks to be a lot of talent in the Carolinas/Virginia this season, hopefully I will be able to load up after this season, with presumably 4 openings (losing the walkon, graduating Chau, and seeing Corbin & Brooks go early entry).

As expected, Duke returned to the NT, but bowed out in the second round. I doubt that my prestige will drop, but if it does, it should return to A+, assuming that Brooks and Corbin are early entries.

Decent season, although an upset in the 2nd round of the NT is always tough to swallow.  Will need to reload next season, looking for 4-5 kids (5 open spots).  We expect to stay at A+ prestige, and I doubt we'll see any early entries.  Corbin is probably the only Blue Devil who will be drafted, although maybe one of the graduating Cs could surprise me and sneak into the end of the 2nd round.
