no I searched through the worlds looking for dominant pitchers the last few days....... Found him in Cobb....of course Donnie Brown in Ruth, many others...If you want a list of them..let me know, and I will let you know whom I found in the last few days to try and compare pitcher 1 to. Cobb stuck in my mind, as I tried to get in there for my first experience...but it was private and they wanted some experience.

Pitcher #2 will give you 32-33 starts, and 175+ IP. No rule that says a #1 or #2 has to go 250 IP. Give me 175 stellar IP anyday.

It just seemed strange that both user ids had a team named PAW Penny Pinchers! Are phillyfan009 and phillyfan33 one & the same? If so, just come out and say it. I don't see any collusion or anything funny, at all.

Please I took over that team early in the season in Ruth. I had asked admin if there was any team open, and they replied with that one where the owner was having family issues and had to leave. I have no idea who had the team before. SO THERE IS NO COLLUSION AND ANYTHING FUNNY TO SEE. I live in Virginia, if you want to come see my home, just let me know and I will gladly schedule you in. So when I took over the team, yes I had the name too, as I could not change it in mid-season.

As far as Dean goes...I saw in the classified where the Cobb owners mention how good their blog was, and when I went to check it out I saw the post and reports on Dean winning another Cy Young, etc. so I went to check his stats and ratings...and they were close to the draft guy. Sorry to disappoint you not being the other guy, but that is life.

Thank you everyone for your responses..I have made up my mind. I also want to thank Big_Doggie for his interest in me taking over a team. The thread here was for advice, not me taking over a team after another phillyfan....It is a shame there are 2 philly fans....wait from 009 to 33....dang there are about 24 more.....where are they? Thanks again everyone!

One thing not discussed -- are these college or high school guys? And if so, where do you have more of your budget. I predict that whoever drafts #1 will see better splits when advanced scouting looks at it than what your prospect scouts reprot.

Somewhat off topic... but how do I get the most accurate ratings for the prospects? When I look at players pre-draft, or when they're an IFA, the ratings are quite a bit different once they are signed.

Pre-draft or IFA: You will see the projections of the HS/Coll/Intl scouts

Post-draft or signing: You will see the projections of your ADV scout.

The closer you are to 20M for the various scouting categories, the more accurate your ratings will be.

Then I guess the true value would be the average ? Ive been told putting 0 in Advanced is the way to go. Which would hinder seeing the true potential of the player.
