wow....i dont even know what to say about all of that.....but so what i gather...to have a really good team with a good prestige i either need to cherry pick one OR i need to get into a good and populated conf to reeally take my prestige up....

but thats kinda where i got frustrated because in Phelan i took over a mediocre tennessee team and i had 3 or 4 really bad seasons with them im finally getting them turned around this season but i was really getting frustrated and questioning my gameplanning....and as far as SOS i always try to schedule as hard as i can but it doesnt always turn out the way i hope

Sorry the thread got hijacked. You certainly don't have to cherry pick. In DII/DIII, it's simply team accomplishment. Conference/baseline prestige don't matter.

In DI they definitely play a role. You can take a team like UT and get them to A/A+ prestige w. out a doubt. The low-end DI teams are much harder, it's virtually impossible to get above an A- w. out winning the title. Still fun and a great challenge, but if your main goal is to get/maintain A+ prestige, then you basically need to go to a BCS conference.

I for one could care less about grammar or spelling on a HD thread or anything else which is purely recreational in nature. But if you insist on nitpicking others typographical errors and somehow equating them with an inability to spell for which you make fun of them. Please don't misspell words that someone who has an alleged Ivy League education should be spelling correctly since the time they were in elementary school. It is "naive". E.G. - It is naive for you to think that anyone aside from Colonels actually values your opinion.

Im still not certain, what you were trying to demonstrate here. Was it that even at what could be considered an average coaching job, I still won more NT games in one season there than you have in your entire career? Or that my work at NC State, was in fact better than anything you've accomplished anywhere? That it was a bottom rung school which I made competitive in the ACC? I'm not sure I get you?

Oh, and my apologies. Thanks for pointing out the fine job you did at Tulane. 6 seasons. 2 NT appearances. Zero wins? What exactly are you trying to prove in pointing out the blips in others resumes? Your entire HD career is one giant blip?

Let me guess, next you'll say I had one bad season at Pitt or ask if I'm two other users? That about cover it?

mmt......"you've destroyed EVERY team you've ever been at"...which as you can see @ Tulane, is categorically false. My only point is with the way complete incompetence you've shown at multiple programs including NC St. for an extremely long stretch, where do you get off criticising anyone else's resume?

Now seriously, are you that imperceptive that you could not figure that out on your own?

I'm trying to imagine the level of incompetence it would require to coach 1,600 games with one ID and not win a single DI NT game. It's just staggering.

If you've got another ID, please show it. I showed mine, even though everyone already knew them. (And even if you do, it doesn't change the mind-numbing ineptitude you've exhibited with this ID.)

Right now, the only thing we know for sure is that you're an unsuccessful coach with an enormous hard-on for zhawks.
