Hey all3 ... aardvarks should have a pick at the very end of round 1 ... we need one to replace Ricky Davis on the roster, whom we dropped. Thanks.

Yeah, I believe steev was waiting to post who was 23rd and who was 24th, depending on who won the Title, as that owner picks 24th (if I remember correctly).

Unfortunately ncih has experienced a personal loss that may keep him from the SIM for a while. He has asked that I draft for him. Given the make-up of his team (shown below), there is no clear selection.

08-09 Steve Nash (PG)30.330
08-09 Brevin Knight (PG)11.411
08-09 James Posey (SG)26.126
08-09 Dahntay Jones (SG)17.417
08-09 Andres Nocioni (SF)24.324
08-09 Vladimir Radmanovic (SF)17.618
08-09 James Jones (SF)7.78
08-09 Thaddeus Young (PF)31.431
08-09 Tim Thomas (PF)15.215
08-09 Shaquille O Neal (C)27.527
08-09 DeSagana Diop (C)12.613

The team is short on minutes at PG and C (without using a player at 90% or less). Given the two positions are of about equal need this season, but C is much more in need of minutes for 09 - 10, I'm leaning towards a center. (A 100% or very, very close to it C.) Since I don't want to "lose" minutes with a player who is 100% eligible at only C, I was thinking it might be good to draft C. Andersen, then get the needed PG minutes by dropping James Jones, who is all but worthless both remaining years of this League. Jones' minutes will be filled by sliding Young or Thomas into the SF slot with Andersen at PF for a while. There will be a couple available players with higher salaries this season or next, but few with both higher than Andersen, and none who would fill this team's needs without a trade (which I don't want to get in to).

I know nobody wants to give away any of their Draft stategy, but any feedback that anyone is willing to provide on this would be appreciated. I will take it all into consideration and post a final selection for ncih around 5:30 tomorrow. I appologize for the delay, but really want to do right by ncih here, and I am letting you know when the next pick will be made, so you don't have to keep checking. Besides, we are already 2+ days ahead of schedule, so this will create less catch-up work for steev when he returns. Thanks everyone.

gtb4 has posted his keepers and has listed C. Andersen as returning from IR for him. Guess that will chance things for NCIH draft strat

Crap. I guess steev missed that when making the list. I'm open for any suggestions.

Come on guys - help me out. PLEASE!

I can't help, I am four picks ahead.

What you need to do is trade the pick to me for my second rounder.

I guess he's going to have to play 92% Jason Thompson at C for a bit this season, then hope he's 100% there for next season. He's by far the most valuable 08 - 09 player , and is actually having a better season in 09-10.

He does still need to drop James Jones so he (probably steev or I) can draft some PG minutes for this season in Round 2. Hope that's OK. It's the best I can do. shapandrew7 site-mailed to continue when ready. Thanks for the patience everybody (even if not one of you tried to help - tough crowd).

Mike Dunleavy is also on my team. Not sure why he's on the draft list.

For tomorrow, we're way ahead of schedule, but we're going to go ahead and set the timeslots back where they would be normally, so for Wednesday Feb 17:

11. Florida Fire (jgreene)- UP UNTIL 9:00pm
12. Las Vegas Gamblers (iccoahb)- 9:00pm-10:00pm

picks 13-24 will continue on Thursday

Yes I have both Chris Andersen and Mike Dunleavy. They shouldn't be on the list.
