this is gonna start to get interesting now... i can see badja scratching his head and deciding what tact to take... small or big, or just a straight away sf type? these lower picks, 12-24 are all gonna be tough to select.

gary's proxy has a couple of surprises on it.

i like the garnett pick because of the 6 dimes a game season he has to play. garnett affords ff09 the luxury of drafting a 5-6 ast type sg for his pg, and there are lots of those guys that shoot lights out 3's.

imo... barkley goes 1, then rodman, killer picks... then, i think, bird. the superstuds: jordan and lebron, i would let picks 4 and 5 fight over them. when looking for boards at the sf position later, they're not gonna be there unless u willingly take a hit in some other % category.

triple-double oscar's a good pick in this league.

Scud, I'll agree with you on the sir chuck and rodman assessment. . .i thought very long and very hard and was about an inch from taking the Worm, but decided my pick in round 5 would help cover the boards : -D

When did "D-E-C-I-D-E-D" become the new spelling for HOPE?

*cough* When the draft order gave me the 1st pick of center-only eligible players *cough*

There are 3 studs that inevitably will be available at the top of the fifth round. Beyond that it will be very interesting to see what flotsam and jetsam remains to sift through.

Love the Kobe pick. . .I totally slept on that one.

gary's 2nd pick was even better than kobe, imo...

I think you're running this draft to get insight into our minds, scud. . .you'll take advantage in every draft league from here on out. ;)

if u mean, insight = tendancies, that was known a long time ago...

You can't have gathered that much, I've only been around for about a year.

This is even screwier than I expected. 14 picks in, and only 4-5 IRL small forwards selected (depending on how you classify Marion).

This round is totally screwing half of the owners.

The other half will get their screwing in the next round.

yea i def wanted marion but didnt expect him to fall as it is so im not too disappointed....i ranked my top 12 when i found out sf was first and peja was number 11 so i kinda figured id end up with him...like you said, he gives me alot of cap space flexibility with his 40 mins a game at 5.8 mil...and picking 12th i might be able to snag some lower min studs

that's all true, but i was thinking what he does for u in another way... he can't play the 4, nor the 2... so that lessens your confusion about how to build your team in a severely limited field. there is a big advantage to drafting only a single position sf... as others will discover in later rounds i think.

losing the players u have your eye on is much more intense and frequent in a draft league like this... lol... half the fun!
