now if the battle is on the 2nd day thats a different story, you would have the chance to decide if you wanted to battle or walk away. I just try to do things that won't hurt my conference, I want it to be tough other wise I would be playing against sims.

the choice to poach is your own and I have no problem with it if it doesn't hurt your conference but I'm not sure how many other coaches feel the same way about it. now if someone does poach me in conference then that rule gets thrown out the window for that team but I would still have to weigh if it would hurt the conference before doing it

All the more reason to give a higher percentage of cash to teams based on individual performance.

i wont recruit against a conference mate if we are 4-5 cycles in. That said once someone has "poached" me (for lack of a better term).. I consider him to be fair game

Well I still don't know why there isn't an extra games worth of monies added to the pot for the Winner of both the NT and PIT...

I brought this up many times when tk was incharge and always got "Thanks for your suggestion"

I just landed a guy at SU under robs_wife that i started going after about 10 minutes before signings started. And It was against a Conf mate/rival. I thought I had enough to get the player and protect against and similar action against me. DO I think it hurt the conf???? not at all. THe player is still on in our conf he just happens to be on my team. And if I can give myslef an advatage like that I am goind to take it every single time.

If I want the player and have the money to get him I will. It goes no deeper than that.

All's fair, just doesn't pay to be "polite."

I have always felt that as well - I understand the 'rich getting richer' argument as well and would gladly settle for just IQ development in the postseason, as opposed to both IQ and Ratings.

the NT teams already get a nice prestige boost over schools that don't make it. I don't think they need to be given a higher % of conference money too.
