I'd rather have the newer teams pick their AAA than to change the cap so far into the league and 6 pack race. I would definitely be opposed to that.

I agree with Hodags as to the effect of the WIS salary re-structure (older teams benefiting the most), except that I would recommend a smaller cap drop to 110M ...

I think the biggest differance is the change in WIS salary structure. The Brewers use to be very competitive but since player values went down with the newer teams that use AAA putting the highest paid player at each position just can't match the old teams that have a bunch of 8+ mil players to choose from. The AAA really don't do much since your whole roster is filled already just trying to reach 120 mil. I would love to see it dropped to 100mil and keep the above aaa for the young teams

Good point Hodags. I selected the Brewers this version and i could not even fill out the roster using the cap space. I even selected a full season *gasp* Matt Stairs as an extra player/PHer.

I believe if you can select your AAA though having that extra cap space won't matter too much.

I like lowering the AAA to average and pick 'em. If you have pick'em AAA above average that is too much of an advantage.

Have any of you ever used the pick 'em feature for AAA? You can select ANY player in the price-range. It's a nice plus in this format...

Arvid: When you say that you can select any AAA player in the price-range ... 1) do you mean 120M cap by price-range? , and 2) do you mean any player from any franchise or just the selected franchise? ...
