I will not veto the first trade.

I will veto the SECOND trade listed. I will not allow someone who does not purchase a AAA card to trade for AAA.

Unless of course, both teams have AAA cards and then forget all of what I said.

What Fish said. All the AAA Card does is allow us to use the AAA players that everyone will be assigned. Trading 3 AAA players to someone who can't use them makes no sense. Bastan, do both players need to have a AAA card to make a trade involving AAA?

Ok guys, here are the rules. YOU CANNOT TRADE ANY PLAYERS ON YOUR CARDS UNTIL SEASON STARTS. You can try to make these "seperate" trades as one, but only half can go thru now, and it is most likely the other one gets vetoed, so it looks unwise to do it. It is clearly staed in the rules about not being able to trade players from cards until the season starts.

Also, everyone will get AAA but those who didn't pay for the card must put XXX's in all names, and are ineligible to be traded or used. In fact, I have a strong policy this go around for it. If it comes to my attention that you use an illegal AAA player when you didn't pay for the card, you are inelgible for the playoffs.

As long as you both know that this trade cannot be approved by me and has to go through the veto process, it is all good. You do not have to post in-season trades here though, as I cannot approve them. Also make sure both teams would be under the salary cap of there team. If the trade goes through and it is over the cap, I will have to deny it on that.

Yes, I just wanted to Introduce the subject of Trades & Salary as being a non-factor in completing some trades.
Because the knee-jerk reaction tends to be geared more toward salary being an indicator of value & fairness rather than the overall value and mutual benefit for both teams.

Let me Break it down into Baked Potatoes:
If putting together our teams were like building a good Baked Potato-- If I have more than enough bacon for my baked potato & I need to trade some of my bacon for some cheese for the potato-- I'll trade as much bacon as it will take to get some good quality cheese to complete my potato. If there is a better quality cheese offer out there, I'd make that trade. Besterateam has some good cheese I'd trade Buffington for. Josh has some good cheese I'd trade Seward or someone else for to help me complete my Baked Potato.

People can make their own judgements.
Maybe we'll just need to take a head count via sitemail before we fill our teams so we know for certain that a trade will go through.

Damn, I'm hungry now... screw the baked potato... does anyone have any french fries?

How Many vetoes will be required to over ride a trade???

If its up for a vote I'd vote for 14 since I think trades are a vital part of this pieces parts type league
