banditone - LeBron James, Walt Bellamy, Michael Ray Richardson
Let's see. I loved the Lebron pick. It shows a different direction. I don't like either the Bellamy or Richardson pick, mostly because there were better options out there for each. However, Bellamy is not as bad as he was once thought... my major objection is that the two picks combined... well, both are high foulers. That will put you out of some games. Good thing is that the King is a very low foul player, so that helps. To an extent.
tricky24 - Moses Malone, Kevin Willis, Reggie Miller
This is about as perfect a start as you can get. You need assists, but you've got a great inside-outside game, great boards on both sides, lots of ftas and are reasonable efficient. Love it.
sappy - Wilt Chamberlain, Mookie Blaylock, Glen Rice
I have no idea what kind of Wilt you're using, but with the set-up thus far, I like it either way. Lots of inside-outside going on here and lots of assists. Very efficient tov% with the backcourt to balance the Stilt out.
gtak - Dennis Rodman, Terry Porter, Amare Stoudemire
I like it. Rodman is the best rebounder in the sim (by far) and gives you good efg% and good tov% while playing 3300 minutes and can be put at three positions. For less than $9 million! TP is my favorite PG in $42-million league: 27% ast%, 58% efg%, 130 threes, 330 ftas with less than 22.1% usage - can't ask for much better than that. 65 def rating is perfect in a 42-cap. He'll also give you some steals. Amare I'm not as big a fan of - I don't like my primary offensive guys to be in constant foul trouble. I try and stay away from anyone who averages more than 4.0 pf48min. He does bring a lot of good to the table, though: high efg%, low tov%, lots of ftas, good defense (depending on year). I actually like his 41 defense season a lot if you have help on the boards, which you do.
scudmissle - Charles Barkley, Deron Williams, Carlos Boozer
Williams is a great compliment to Barkley. He'll get him the ball a lot, make some threes, get to the line and play some defense. Boozer is a perfect pick here, as he gives way more defensive boards than Chuck. The pair balances each other out very nicely. This is a frightening start.
