How are we going to determine who gets the first pick? Random selection?

That's how the single-year draft leagues are generally done. I know the 07-08 version was. I don't recall the 08-09 one, but I think it was, too. When we did the UPL (ultimate progressive league), we did the same because the first few picks got guys with long, great, kitchen-sink-filled careers (Wilt, Jordan, Jabbar, etc) whereas the guys toward the end of the first round got either guys with medium great careers, or long-time specialists... it really helped the ones toward the end of the first round make up for it. I remember the 07-08 draft was all about 5 players... so the ABBA ABBA ABBA was necessary. It should be this year, too. Durant and the King's teams are going to be ridiculous even doing ABBA ABBA ABBA. Doing normal snake style will just imbalance it even further.

I agree - but don't see a need to give A the first picks in Rounds 4 & 5. What about A-B-B-A-B-A-B (just giving B the first pick in Round 3 and alternating from there - again another effort to make it a little tougher on the 1st picks of Lebron, Wade and Durant)

stop making it difficult. let's just do standard snake style like normal human beings.

I am not interested if this goes standard (lazy) snake.

Previous versions of this league balanced by using multiple picks in certain rounds, etc. Something has to be done to balance the superstars.
