I KILT THE PIT Topic

"He stopped talking to me and just blocked me. Another one bited the dust!"

I would never block the little guy, he is so much fun and I would miss his simple mind at work. I DO ignore him because to do otherwise would just encourage his repeating the same silly ideas over and over. You heard it once and you have heard it more then enough.

PMSNBC CUTS OUT OF OBAMA SPEECH   (READ: JOURNOLIST)

RUSH: Now, you notice, you notice, ladies and gentlemen, how Obama will not hold press conferences.  The media doesn't care about this.  He runs around the country claiming credit for things, assigning blame for things.  He went to Ford today. We have the sound bite.  Where is this sound bite?  I think it's number 3.  I'm changing my order on the sound bites from what I said.  Where is it?  I can't find it.  Never mind.  I'll have to find it during commercial break.  He went to Ford.  He started praising the federal bailout. (interruption)  It is number 3?  Play the sound bite. I don't have the transcript right in front of me.  I can't find what I... Ah, here it is.  This is this morning.  Obama spoke at the Ford Motor Company Chicago assembly plant, and during the speech you had the Ford plant employees cheering against the Obama bailout.  MSNBC happened to pull away from coverage at that point.

OBAMA:  Now, Ford was in better financial shape and was able to weather the storm without federal assistance

AUDIENCE: (wild cheering).

MELVIN:  President Obama speaking to a friendly crowd there in Chicago.

RUSH:  They bumped out of the "friendly crowd," the Ford Motor employees cheering the fact that they didn't take a federal bailout and then the dunce reporter Craig Melvin, "President Obama speaking to a friendly crowd there..."  It was not a "friendly crowd" in Chicago.  The crowd was cheering the fact that they had not taken any federal bailout money.  It was a repudiation of Obama.  MSNBC had to cut out.  So he's around.  He's claiming credit for all of these things, assigning blame for things, but he will not subject himself to a press conference, even when most of the fake media is friendly.  The reason for this is twofold.  He's really not that smart, folks.  This is part of the myth that Obama is superior in intellect and intelligence, smarter than all the rest.

He's not really that smart.

I mean, can we be honest?

Here's a guy who's come up with policies, and he claims that what he's trying to do here is fix the economy and create jobs, and yet everything he's doing is destroying that.  How smart is that? He doesn't want to prove, he really doesn't want to illustrate how he is not smart.  His policies are indefensible.  I mean, there's no way Obama can defend his economic policies.  There's simply no way. That's why they are going back to bashing Bush.  Obama cannot defend one policy.  So he doesn't even want to stand up there and have a press conference.  He doesn't want to have any scrutiny whatsoever.  It's a lot easier to go out and make pronouncements, send the wife over to Spain, go golfing, jump on a plane to Chicago, have dinner with Oprah, have the media fawn all over you -- do all of that -- rather than do anything substantive.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: President Obama went to the Ford plant in Chicago to talk about how he saved the US auto industry.  Did you know that he saved the US auto industry?  And by the way, the United Autoworkers are planning to target Ford this year for a massive strike.  Here's how Obama did it.  This afternoon he was interviewed by CNBC's Phil LeBeau, who asked President Obama: "How do you feel about the fact that Ford was able to rebuild its business without a bailout?"

OBAMA:  Well, the interesting thing is if you talk to Ford's CEO, he'll tell you that if GM had been liquidated, if Chrysler had been liquidated, that could have been a crisis for the entire industry including Ford because all those suppliers would have been lost and the brand of the American auto industry would have really been greatly diminished.

RUSH:  There you have it. President Obama saved the US auto industry with a bailout.  Saved Ford, too, because see, if Ford's competitors had been liquidated, Chrysler and GM, why, Ford would have been destroyed, too, because the brand of the American made automobile would have been diminished.  So I, I, Barack Obama, I saved the auto industry.  That's his answer.

AMERICA VS. THE DEMONAZIS

RUSH: The Heritage Foundation in its Morning Bell blog today:  "The Obama Elite Versus the American People -- This Tuesday voters in Missouri, by a 40-point margin, approved a ballot measure rejecting the individual mandate at the core of President Barack Obama's health care law."

And by the way, did you hear what Gibbs said about that?  Here is White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, speaking for Obama, the president of the United States. "White House press secretary Robert Gibbs flatly dismissed Missouri's vote Tuesday rejecting a key part of the healthcare law. Gibbs said Missouri's vote approving a ballot initiative to exempt residents from the new law requiring individuals to buy health insurance was 'of no legal significance.'" (Raspberry) you!  (Raspberry) you! is the attitude from Washington.  "Asked what it means that voters in Missouri would vote against the federal mandate, Gibbs said: 'Nothing.'" Now, it is said here in The Hill newspaper that "Gibbs is correct that the Missouri vote doesn't trump federal law, but it has given a boost to those calling on Congress to repeal the healthcare law."  That's not the story here.  Gibbs "flatly dismissed Missouri's vote" is the story. They are governing against the will of the American people.

IT'S THE ECONOMY STUPID!

RUSH: Other news: "New claims for unemployment benefits unexpectedly rose last week, according to government data, underscoring a weak labor market and the fragile economic recovery.  Initial claims for state unemployment benefits rose 19,000 to a seasonally adjusted 479,000 the week ending July 31st.  That's the highest level of claims since early April."  But last week they went down, didn't they?  They went down a smidgen or up, but last week it was the lowest it's been in 20 years.  Now it's the highest it's been since April.  Analysts talked to by Reuters, partisan political operatives, had forecast claims dropping -- we're still talking unreasonably high numbers of people out of work.  The numbers of people who give up trying to find work continues to expand.  Scott Wren, senior equity strategist at Wells Fargo Advisors in St. Louis: "The bottom line is that any recovery in employment is going to be very slow.  It's likely that we are still at 9.5% unemployment or awfully close to it by the end of this year."  Nonfarm payrolls probably fell 65,000 last month after declining 125,000 in June.  That's Reuters.

AP:  "New Jobless Claims Rise to 479,000.  Labor department said Thursday new claims went up by 19,000."  Now, when the AP was trumpeting that seasonally unemployment claims had declined the first two weeks of July, which I just referenced, they neglected to note, we pointed it out here that Obama Motors had skewed the unemployment numbers down with his unprecedented move of not taking a two-week layoff to retool, a detail we did point out.  Now they trot out this information to try to explain why the jobless numbers are higher.  "Some of the increase stemmed from difficulties the government has in adjusting for seasonal factors. The Labor Department expected a large decline in claims last week as many auto companies usually shut their plants temporarily in early July. Claims were expected to rise during the shutdown and then fall.  But this year General Motors and other manufacturers skipped the shutdowns, so claims didn't fall last week as much as expected."

Now, this is ridiculously hilarious.  When AP was trumpeting all these seasonably unemployed claims of decline for the first two weeks, they were citing Obama Motors and the fact they didn't shut down.  Now they are blaming all this because Obama Motors didn't shut down.  They trot out this information to try to explain why the numbers are higher this week.  We are waiting for the AP to put the blame on hot weather.  They blamed snowstorms in January and February.  Now blame the hot weather.

HELL!  The Demonazis used to cry that Bush took too many vacations. I don't hear them crying now. Bush went to his own fuckin' ranch. He probably ate his own food. He had facilities for the secret service right there. Bush is Motel 6 compared to Obama. Bush even quit playing golf after 911. Fuckin' Obama has his $100 a pound ultra steak dinners with his closest 300 friends and vacations all over the world and golf and the biggest entertainers and musicians and parties at the White House and.................       I remember an article from a Washington socialite early in the Bush administration. She was ******** about how dead Washington would be now that the Clintons were gone. The Bushes were home bodies and didn't like to party. Well, maybe Obama should look around. We don't exactly have money to burn right now.

Just another example of the journolist and the slanted one-sided leftist puke media.
