He supported a Government option before overwelming opposition made him pull back.
He makes speechs all the time blasting "Wall street" for the current economic problems.
He is overturning DADT.
His stimulus package was an agenda driven porkfest.

You seem to be confusing what Obama is trying to accomplish with what he can actually get people to support!

USF says government tried to squelch their oil plume findings

A month after the Deepwater Horizon disaster began, scientists from the University of South Florida made a startling announcement. They had found signs that the oil spewing from the well had formed a 6-mile-wide plume snaking along in the deepest recesses of the gulf.

The reaction that USF announcement received from the Coast Guard and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the federal agencies that sponsored their research:

Shut up.

"I got lambasted by the Coast Guard and NOAA when we said there was undersea oil," USF marine sciences dean William Hogarth said. Some officials even told him to retract USF's public announcement, he said, comparing it to being "beat up" by federal officials.

Blue crabs provide evidence of oil tainting Gulf food web

To assess how heavy a blow the BP oil spill has dealt the Gulf of Mexico, researchers are closely watching a staple of the seafood industry and primary indicator of the ecosystem's health: the blue crab.

Weeks ago, before engineers pumped in mud and cement to plug the gusher, scientists began finding specks of oil in crab larvae plucked from waters across the Gulf coast.

The government said last week that three-quarters of the spilled oil has been removed or naturally dissipated from the water. But the crab larvae discovery was an ominous sign that crude had already infiltrated the Gulf's vast food web -- and could affect it for years to come.

BP Cover Up? Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser Says Oil Giant Lies About Oil Spill Cleanup

Oil is still hitting the Louisiana shore, and BP is trying to cover it up, aided by the federal government.

So says Louisiana leader Billy Nungesser, the Republican president of Plaquemines Parish, in an explosive interview today with ABC's Diane Sawyer.

After a week of news suggesting thatmuch of the oil has been skimmed up or begun to break up, Nungesser pushed back against those claims. He said his cleanup crews were busy vacuuming crude out of marshes over the weekend, finding thousands of dead fiddler crabs, as well as dead fish and oiled birds.

Deception by dispersal; the great Gulf oil tragedy

The pictures below were all taken on July 28, 2010, just off the Gulf coast of Grand Bayou near Barataria Bay. They were taken shortly after cleanup authorities announced major surface oil had been cleaned up.

So we are to believe that BP and Obama are working together to keep the disaster a secret? Why would anyone believe this?

The 1st 3 are all minor stories. The last one is from an extreme radical think tank that receives millions from the EPA. They seem to make money if this is a huge disaster. And their former head is now in charge of the federal investigation? I thought Obama was trying to hide this. why would he appoint a radical enviromentalist if this was just our little secret?

Where is the mystery? What isnt being covered? What wasnt in the media? It is amazing how many stories there are about the cover up?

No one said nothing happened. No one said there is no damage and no clean up is needed.

All  we are saying is the scale of this is FAR less than some enviromental extremists would have you believe!

I'll never understand what goes through the heads of people who think they can get away with lying about the things they said just a few pages ago on a message board.

Remember a few weeks ago they were telling us the Gulf was destroyed and that Florida and maybe the whole Atlantic coast would be covered in oil? Remember Obama shutting down all the drilling and putting thousands of people out of work because we cannot allow another disaster like this one?

So it is all gone now.

No one said there is no damage and no clean up is needed.

First you say all the oil is gone, then you claim that no one said "no clean up is needed." If all the oil is gone, what is there to clean up?

You're a ******* liar, and a ****** liar to boot. You'd think someone with as much practice at it as you have would get better at lying at some point.

I, of course, meant the huge oil slick. There is going to be some residual oil in some places.

Is this the 23rd or 24th time that you called me a liar and I wasnt? You make up so much stuff it is hard to keep up with your crazy rants!

Show me ONE post I have ever made defending either one of these groups.

I dont defend corporations, but I dont demonize them. I treat them as any other entity that I may come upon.

I am no more a corporate shill than you are a shill for Trial Attorneys and Enviromental groups. My life view justs happens to support some of the same points, just like you!
