League Specs:
1.To start, we'll use the 25 seasons from 1985 to 2009. For the second season and every season thereafter I will drop 5 of the original 25 seasons and add 5 new seasons from another era for the upcoming draft. The 5 seasons dropped and the 5 seasons added will always be consecutive. Any player that comes from the 5 seasons dropped that you have listed as a Keeper will remain on your roster. The adding and dropping of seasons is only for the draft to get a good mix of players into the league.

2.Drafts will be done using the Pick6/Blacklist style formula.
For the Initial Draft everyone will Sitemail me lists of players that played between 1985 and 2009. Any duplicates will be Blacklisted. If you're the only one to have a certain player on your list then you get that player. We'll continue to do this until everyone has a full roster. It usually takes about 10 to 12 lists for everyone to get their rosters filled. I'll SM my list to the 1st 3 owners who send me theirs. I won't open theirs until they open mine.
Your 25 players must be assigned accordingly for the 1st season: 15 can start at any season. 5 must start with their rookie season and 5 must start with their second season. This rule is only to discourage teams from loading up their initial roster for the inaugural season.

3.For Subsequent drafts the Pick6/Blacklist process will also be used. Everyone will submit their Cuts & Keepers at the Transaction Deadline. Any player Cut from a season that we will be using for the next year will be available to be picked by all teams except the team that Cut him. All newly acquired players must start with their Rookie season. Keepers will follow normal progression each season.

4.Trades will be allowed via the normal veto process.

Format: Standard 24 Teams.
NOTE: If we don't reach 24 then we will downgrade to 20, 16, or 12 Teams. Please keep this in mind when signing up for the league. If we get to 24, great! But the league will be a go even if we only get to 12. Every effort and a reasonable amount of time will be given to get to 24 but it is probable that we'll start with less. If we have less than 24 and new owners want to join for subsequent seasons we will try to add them. If we start with 12 or 16 Teams we will only use 15 or 20 seasons to start instead of 25.

AAA: 2 below average for trade filler.

DH: vote "Yes" or "No" upon signup, doesn't matter to me either way.

Posting of rules from original classified.

A couple of questions:

1)  Will Maddux be blacklisted automatically in next years draft or will players like him be eligible next season?

2)  Regarding my Nolan Ryan pick:  Do I have the option to start him in any season he played, even if it is pre-1991?

2)No, all players must be from 1991-2005, however you'll still need five rookies, and five 2nd season players. Those 5 of each must still be from 1991-2005. If this becomes a major problem for anyone we can take a quick vote on changing it, however I think I made it clear before we started drafting!
