FYI - You don't need to split up the posts any more.  You should be able to post all the players in one post.

I was happy to get 4 SPs (Blanton, Righetti, Reulbach, Chance) and 2 RPs (Miljus, Latman) but my offense... ughhh.  I had 3 key hitters (K.Kelly, F.Baker, K.Williams) selected by onily one other person.

Wow...only 217 IP left on my pitching staff.  This is gonna be a rough draft...

wow, I think that's my worst first round.....ever. I got one position player I had drafted as a starter, and exactly one pitcher.

fortunately I got some bench picks who can take starting roles, but eeeesh.

I think I came away from round one pretty happy.  I lost one player I really wanted to have, Sam Thompson, but got everyone else I really didn't want to have to replace.

Not 1 starting position player.  3 bench players that will only be bench players.  7 pitchers 4 starters and 3 relief made it through.

I think what happened was we all saw that Greg Maddux snuck through last version of this theme and said what the heck lets try it ourselves.  I know I did.

Tom makes everyone wait two weeks and then rosters 24 players!!!!! 

I turn in my draft picks in one day and roster 8 players!!!!!

And I extended my EO record:  I have never rostered a 2B in the first round.  This time it was Craig Biggio.

I have 2 SP, 0 RP, 2 full-time position players, and 4 bench players left on my roster.

Well, at least I got 1 pitcher through and his 45 IP are sure to help. I guess it is back to drawing board for the other pitchers.  Lost the three best players in my starting lineup too.... It is going to be another long EO season.

Wow, I got all my $200k scrubs, and two low-IP RPs for a total of 85 IP (including mop up)... Schwarze was my personal nemesis being the only other claimant on two of my key players. I did manage to get 4 of my starting hitters, but none of them were key to my offense, just fillers around my 3 big hitters. This will be an interesting 2nd round.
