being AL i did not know his success. What's cool about the league is the players you discover and use.
Hanley at 7 is a wow, but I agree got to have the arms. That's why i went for Zack in a off year for him.

Meek was the Pirates representative in the all-star game.  That's the only reason I knew about him & was hoping he'd slide to me for my next pick!

Lack of starting pitching talent in AL is a real downer. Lack of talent in AL stinks period.
Surprised by some picks to date, others right on form to my eyes.
I would love to hear other owners'  thoughts.
Yeah the AL talent pool is a bummer. And the lack of AAA is a killer. I honestly don't think I can add 2 players to the A's and have enough ABs and IPs to get through a season. But we'll do the best we can. I'm hoping the better teams go for a guy like Soria instead of a crappy 500-AB guy :)

I agree with simisox, Betemit was a great pick but if he had known of additional players avail to him
he may have looked at it differently. I am sure he is not the only one. I would like a optional 3rd draft round, but
that is changing the rules too late in the game.

yeah unfortunately i would have made a different pick if i had access to some extra innings at AAA. i don't think we can change at this point.
