Benny, You didn't tell anyone so that is on you... However this guy TOLD the commish about his problems in advance so they were given a heads up. That was a very respectful move on his part. The least the commish can do here is give him the same respect.
A little misleading, tom. The guy told his commish that he was NOT coming back due to financial troubles. He only decided to return when he got enough credits to re-up. That would have to be after the season ended. The commish did the sensible thing in lining up a new owner for a guy who indicated he was not coming back, which was best for the league. The guy only had one season invested in this team, so just take another team. It's not like he had been developing the team for 5-6 seasons and was on the verge of being a powerhouse. Another point, if you have that much trouble scraping together $24 to play a game, perhaps you should reconsider your priorities.
