WNE only has one guy over 42 and no one over 55.  You don't think you should have outrebounded them by more than 11?  You had a MONSTROUS advantage.

Seriously, look at this team:

They shouldn't even get a rebound.

no doubt, what about the other 2 games?

W & J has a very similar profile to the above team, missed 7 more FGAs than you and 5 more FTs-- you outrebounded em by 20, which seems fine to me.

Against Medaille you missed 17 FTAs to his 2, he outrebounded you by 14. sounds about right.

No, I have a doubt here.

Not a doubt about how bad WNE is on the glass (they are absolutely horrible) but about how "monstrous" his advantage was.

His starting center is a good D3 rebounder (14 Ath, 96 Reb) - he also had 18 rebounds, so he produced as such and dominated the glass against the inferior team. His starting PF is an above average D3 rebounder (30 Ath, 70 Reb). The rest of your team, frankly, looks really weak to me (from a rebounding perspective).  Not nearly as bad as WNE, but not good by any stretch. (The lack of athleticism across the board is striking).

Perhaps the talent level at D3 in different Worlds is really that different, I don't know (I've played only Tark) but from what I've seen in Tark, he'd be below-average (at rebounding) for a good team.

Also, as an aside, I don't think looking at raw Reb differential is the way to do it, because it doesn't account for the level of defense being played, the tempo, etc. Instead, I think it should be looked at as a percentage of total available rebounds (perhaps with some weighting done for offensive/defensive opportunities).
