I would prefer to hold off on this year's players until next season.

it expands the options which cant be a bad thing but it's your league afterall 

I have no strong feelings on the subject one way or another, my guy isnt in the league anymore so it wont impact me and I dont care because my guy is looking like a pretty great link anywho

Is cap 57? I think 52 is better.

I'm 50/50 as to whether I'm still in with the changed cap.  $57M requires a broad selection of players to actually utilize your entire salary (ie - lots of excess minutes)

52 is almost too low given the fact that we are talking about using many HOF-caliber players.  Kind of defeats the point.  BUT, 57 is really more than anyone should need.

So-

I THINK you can set any cap level you want these days, correct?  I would split the difference and go for 54 or 55 mil.  Shouldn't make a huge difference from what I've seen building several teams around different guys.
