I'm surprised no one has picked the Reds. It seems like every other good player has spent some time with them.

Really m'sfan?  I don't think the Reds are very competitive at all at this cap.  If we run this league again and you take the Reds and can get them above .500 in this theme I'll ship you a $10 GC.  The only players that I can think of affiliated with that franchise who I would consider "good" options at $160 million are Morgan and Bench.  Cy Seymour and Frank Robinson are solid players at high caps, and '94 Junior will drive in some runs, but you put all that together and it doesn't give you a league-average offense.  And the pitching is just a mess.

Sorry, no clones.  I guess I just assume everyone will assume no clones unless the rules state that clones are in fact allowed.  I'll stick it on there.

Hell I might take that challenge this season with a second team.  The Reds' hitting might not be to the level of the Braves, Phillies, or Yankees in this cap for sure, but the pitching the Reds can roll out there will take a back seat to few teams.  Silver King, Mathewson, M.Brown, Nehf, Toney, E.Chamberlain, McQuillian, and a slew of other low ip low WHIP guys to round out your pen.

I like obnyy's enthusiasm with the Reds. Plenty of good pitchers made their way through the franchise at one point in their careers.
