The right wants to destroy the education system. It is much easier to get the middle class to vote for their own destruction if they can be kept ignorant.

It's really easy to get the lower class to vote for you if you promise them free ****.  The foundation of the left.

So if we dismiss the fact that I disagree with your premise. Say the right wanted to destroy education.

What have they done to do it?

The left has always controlled education in America.

The education system in this country began to tumble at the same time everything else did - the moment we let women into the workplace.

I realize your trying to bate swamp but when it comes to education........women have been part of the work force since the early 1800s.

If that were true swamp, we would have wiped all of you reactionaries out of our society decades ago. Unfortunately we are still stuck with your regressive thinking.

My trying to bate swamp what?

I kid.

I'm talking about the  change in the 1950s wrt to women in the workplace, and it's not an attempt to bate swamp.  The minute there wasn't someone at home watching the kids things started to change.  I don't blame women for it - it just is what it is.  It has a huge impact on pretty much anything involving kids.

There's a ton of truth to this..though I prefer to say, since it became essential that both parents work, for a family to survive.

Survive is an interesting choice of words.   I assume you mean two cars, HDTV and eating out among many other things we consider essentials that are actually luxuries.

The left has recently started spinning that the American Educational process is actually doing great. I think someone looked around and noticed that the left made almost all the policy decisions for education and they could no longer explain why education sucked without the simple conclusion that the left is wrong on Education.
