he's been gone for a couple days in the other draft.  i'm willing to take over his draft here (as he picks right behind me anyways), and take over the team if he doesn't show up or is no longer able to be in the league.  but i would like to know soon-ish so that i can make his first round pick before all the good players are gone.  :>

I kmow I'm not commish - but that seems quite fair to me - not enough for me to give up Yzerman though but seriously, he shouldn't miss out on the all important 1st round if he is out of town and did not know the draft has even started. 

i wasn't going to take yzerman anyways alan, so you're safe.  besides, i wouldn't expect anyone to give up a pick made during their time slot, and in fact, the player i would have chosen for him is still available and there is an adequate second choice still there as well. i think i should wait for the commish to make a ruling though.  he should be on within the next half hour.  :>

I don't know how to handle this, guys.  Seems wrong to just kick tay out.  On the other hand, the farther that team falls behind, the less anyone will want to run it.

I have a proxy for whalers, and then I'm on the clock for 2.  That gives us a window to hear back from tay.


I propose that if we don't hear from tay by 2:00, mike will be declared guardian of the Jets.  He can then make the 1st round pick before I make my picks.  If tay shows up before we finish the 1st round and still wants his team, he can have it.  But if not, when we kick off tomorrow the Jets will become mike's to keep. 

Fair?
