I'll take care of the proxys that were posted here, if llcoach makes his pick, that is.  Sorry for the holdup today.  We've never had timed draft slots for the franchise selection part of this league, but it may be time to implement those.

well if I am reading this right jstewart will take KC; disco dogs will take Pitt; leaving me to take the team I watch every night the Joe Maddon wonders Tampa Bay Rays.  Probably a mistake  (but should be fun trying).

Give me the Rays, jose.  They were a team I looked at that I really would have wanted to try but I wasn't terribly impressed.

I'll wait to place that bet until I make the division alignment, but my early money would be on the Rays now that the D-backs have an early draft pick.

In an effort to make it a bit easier to see which franchises have been selected (thanks schwarze for the idea), I'll highlight the franchises that have been taken in red on the list from page one that shows each franchise by winning %.  And now we wait for mussopini, who has yet to open any of the sitemails that I've sent him.
