Yep, division alignment is important.  It looks like the NL will be a "stars and scrubs" league.  They will have a four or five $10M to $15M players each (mostly pitchers), and the rest of their team will be mostly $4M - $5M guys.  The AL will have lots of guys in the $6-$8M range with the top pitchers topping out at $10-$11M.
