Well when I draft a team, I don't make it rocket science.  I first look at the player's RL numbers and then his # numbers (w/out regard to his + numbers). And if I'm satisfied with what I'm looking for in relation to the park I'm playing in, then I will check his history. And if his history suggests that he will produce what his # numbers indicate, only then do I look at things like his fielding, range, speed, etc.  And so far, its been working for me.
