Thinking about taking the 1918 Redsox but wondering since baseball-reference.com has Ruth listed as both pitcher and outfielder would he be considered a clone If I took one of each?

Exchanged 69 O's for 54 Indians ... Both teams in real life were WS losers.

If we're going to be picking AAA from our own franchise, it should be from the year that the newest team joined the league.  Otherwise, anyone who picks a Marlins (or Blue Jays) team is going to have a huge disadvantage picking AAA guys against teams like Cincinnati who have well over 100 seasons.
That is a great point and a great idea Jesters.

Here forward, the AAA will be from the year of the team you select.

EX: 1965 Giants can select only players from 1965.  Any players available under the below average AAA settings, but ONLY the year of your team.

1993 Mets for me.  I'm ok with random AAA....is there a capability where we can only draft AAA players from our own franchise or year?  Just something to make it more random while still giving us the capability to pick our own guys.
1993 Mets are all yours.  Thanks for joining and good luck!

In case I missed the AAA rules for this season, can you explain again please. I drafted whomever I felt I could use in the entire pool of players. Want to make sure I am complying,

Thanks, Steve.

You can only draft from the season of your team.

For example you selected the 1999 Atlanta Braves.  You can only draft players from 1999.
