By my reckoning, sgsmith must take an AL team (because he already has an NL squad). Meanwhile, my first team was in the AL so I need an NL squad. Seems like I can go ahead and choose. So I'll take the 1927 Pirates. If I've figured this wrong, someone let me know and I'll delete this post and repick.
